Kathy specializes in helping people sell and buy exceptional properties in the California Wine Country — just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Kathy became a licensed real estate agent in 2003 and they began working as a team in 2004 to help all of their clients achieve their real estate dreams in this beautiful area.

A graduate of the University of California at Davis, Kathy grew up in Northern California, where she learned to ride horses and ski at an early age. For over 20 years prior to her real estate career, she owned and operated San Francisco Kitchens, a public relations firm specializing in the food industry. Her high profile public relations clients included: The Dole Food Company, Del Monte Foods, Nestlé USA, Häagen-Dazs, Monterey Gourmet Foods Inc., Sargento Foods, the California Milk Advisory Board and the California Beef Council. As a past president of the San Francisco Professional Food Society, her former name Kathleen Prisant was familiar in the world of culinary arts. She is a published cookbook author, magazine writer, food stylist, and developer of recipes and new products. After successfully buying, renovating, and selling homes in the San Francisco Bay area for 25 years, Kathy turned a passion into her profession.
Kathy is very active within her community in many non-profit and service organizations. She is a sustainer and past board member of Junior League Napa-Sonoma and serves on the executive board of the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art. She is a member of the world’s oldest international food society La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, a past president of Slow Food Sonoma Valley and a former “Capital Grant” committee chair and active member of Impact 100 Sonoma. Kathy is also a past board member of Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center and the Sonoma Greens Homeowner Association. She and Bob (a former Marine Corps officer) sponsor the annual U.S. Marine Corps Reserve “Toys for Tots: Disney•Pixar Holiday Movie” at the historic Sebastiani Theater on the Sonoma Plaza. For a decade, they also co-chaired the Wine Country Marine Corps Birthday Ball, a major fundraiser for the families of wounded warriors returning from the global war on terrorism.
Sonoma and Napa’s Wine Country, according to Kathy, is as close to perfect as a place can be. Soon after moving to the California Wine Country north of the Golden Gate in 2002, Bob became a licensed real estate agent and immediately formed a residential real estate partnership with his wife Kathy. Today, Bob & Kathy continue to work together helping buyers and sellers with luxury properties in both the Sonoma and Napa Valleys. They are committed to exceed each of their clients’ expectations with a delightful and drama-free customer service experience, which is second to none.
Aside from real estate, Bob has managed a parallel career as a local executive business coach for both Chief Executive Officers & Medical Doctors with private practices. Many of which have also become real estate clients.
Prior to his real estate and coaching career, Bob spent 25 years as an advertising and marketing executive helping Fortune 500 companies achieve their strategic business objectives. He is a former Vice President with the J. Walter Thompson Company and Account Director at Foote, Cone & Belding – two of the largest and most respected advertising agencies in the world. He has been responsible for developing successful marketing strategies for a wide variety of diverse brands ranging from Burger King restaurants to Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet jet fighter planes. His national advertising clients have included: The Boeing Company, Mercedes-Benz USA, Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, The Ford Motor Company, Burger King Corporation and The Dole Food Company.
Bob also served in the armed forces as a U.S. Marine Corps Infantry officer and achieved the rank of Captain. His academic credentials include earning a Master of Arts degree from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education & Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Morehead State University.
He is active within his community with many local non-profit organizations. Bob is a board member and strategic planning committee chairman for the Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley. He also serves on the Board of the Sonoma Valley “Stand By Me” Mentoring Alliance and has served as an officer of the Sonoma Masonic Lodge.
As a military veteran, Bob is also active in local patriotic organizations and has chaired the following three high-profile annual events: the “Wine Country Marine Corps Birthday Ball,” the “Sonoma Valley Joint Memorial Day Observance” and the “Toys For Tots: Disney•Pixar Holiday Movie” at the historic Sebastiani Theatre on the Sonoma Plaza.
