I understand that people involved in buying or selling a home are often simultaneously impacted by a major life-changing event (new marriage, birth of child, divorce, job change, retirement, change in financial circumstances, death, etc.). Often this intensifies what is already a very emotional process. Even when the life transition is the joyful purchase of a second home or weekend place for getaways, emotions are always present.
